About the Foundation
The Belltower Student Foundation is a student-run organization at Augusta University whose mission is to strengthen the sense of community at Augusta University through philanthropy, civic engagement, and volunteerism. Members of this prestigious organization are leaders among their peers and dedicated to improving the community we live in.
Foundation Structure
The Foundation is comprised of 4 committees:
- Investment Committee: Completes a short required financial literacy course. Manages our endowment portfolio by selecting investments. Meets approximately once every 4-6 weeks.
- Marketing Committee: Creates branding materials, social media presence, and connects us to the Augusta Community. Meets approximately once every 4-6 weeks.
- Governance Committee: Manages the bylaws and alumni database. Additionally, this committee assists with ensuring members adhere by the bylaws. Meets approximately once per quarter.
- Engagement Committee: Designs our fall and spring service project and manages our Augusta Impact Grant which allocates funding to community and Augusta student projects. Meets approximately once per quarter.
